Hello...

Well, I haven't written anything on here for a good long while, have I?

There are several reasons for this:
- I was made a myspace account by Kari when she couldn't talk to me through MSN. Myspace is generally less tempermental than this page...
- I can't put up anymore photos on here anymore! I love my photos!
- I never have much time to ramble about crap... too busy artworking/graphicking/concerting/rehearsaling
- Anything I do write on here is only really read by my mates, who I tell all the content to anyways...
- No one ever reads this anyways...

I'm not saying this space is dead and buried, but it's certainly been on hold for a while.
If your desperate for my virtual company, find me on Myspace. Simple.

Set aside the day for this one...

Ye gads! I haven't written anything on here for aaaaaaaaaages!

Ahoy there everyone! I hope you're all fine and dandy like sour candy, and all that jazz. I'm back, by popular demand. Well, I say popular demand... I mean two people have told me to write on here, but still! Two more than zero!

I shall try and keep this as brief as I can, for I'm trying to fit two whole months into one blog, and we all know I have tendency to ramble... firstly - college has finished!!! WOOHOO! Couldn't have come sooner in my opinion. My last day was spoilt though. The collage that I was working from in Fine Art was taken, so I have to start a whole new painting (we were painting a section of the collage, you see). I'm not happy. At first I thought that maybe I had misplaced my collage, but the other two I'd done that I hadn't touched for a week had gone as well, so methinks the person I shared the drying rack has accidentally took my work. I hope twas accidental and that they return it. What a way to finish my year! And we all know that I haven't been all that fond of Fine Art this year... arghness...

The day before the last day was ace though. Firstly, I wasn't in college, muhahahaha! I was in sunny Wales!!  Oldham Youth Choir had been entered into the Eisteddfod at Llangollen, and seen as I'm over 16, I was part of the Llangollen choir. I did have a bad start to the day though. Lost half my change down the side of my bus seat, then I had to sprint to college to give Graham a couple of Oldham Tinkers albums he had asked if he could borrow, before sprinting back to the Music Centre. Argh. Still, after that, the day picked up! If I'm completely honest, I was a lil nervous about performing... Llangollen is supposed to be one of the most imptortant choral competitions in the world! It also really didn't help that my voice went croaky towards the end of our first piece, The Lamb. And we went flat in that one... The second, This Have I Done For My True Love, went really well though! Wanna see for yourself?
Tis us! The only English youth choir who still bothers to enter. And do ya know what?
We came last. Out of seven we were seventh. Dr Bentley MBE was a lil annoyed to say the least. In fact, methinks everyone was. A few of my mates who have been before said: "You only win if you're a Welsh choir or if you've come from some far flung corner of the world." There was no Welsh choir in our class this year, but a South African choir won, an Anglo-Chinese choir came second and an American choir came third. To be fair, there was a very high standard, but oh well. It didn't stop us from saying that we should come back next year and sing in a really old, archaic language and slag off the Welsh. I still had a grand day though!! If I've done it right, here should be some photos of us from Llangollen:

Straight from the adjudication... and therefore defeat!

I've realised I've rambled a lot... but ooooooh weeeeeell!!!

This time next week I'll have just got back from the first Halle tour rehearsal! FRANCE IN 11 DAYS!!!!! Not including today, that is... I cannae wait!!! Went into Oldham today with my ma to buy my suitcase, and she insisted that she get loads of new clothes for me as well! She bought me pyjamas that I don't need!! Bless her! I'm very grateful though, tis nice stuff she's got bought for me! And I now own a pair of Nightmare Before Christmas boxers that I got s nightwear. A Led Zeppelin t-shirt and Jack Skellington boxers - I own the coolest pyjamas ever!!!

AND I've finally watched Eurovision! Twas nowhere near as good as last year's - where was Jakob Whatshisface with his crazy red shoes, funky dancing and I'M TALKING TO YOOOOU! It's just not the same without it. Most of 'em sung in English as well, which was disappointing because tis harder to rewrite the lyrics. Aunty Heather and I did manage to get:

"Scabby knees are eating my toes", "Scabby knees are eating my hands", "I'll samurai you, Beverly" and "I am a scart lead". We also discovered through the Croatian song that the dancers were called Sheddy, Notchez and Moya. We don't know what the second dancer was called though. He's not cool enough to have a name. He is The Reject.

I'll promise I'll shut up soon...

To Mr Loydon if you read this: I LOVE THE NEW ALBUM. Honestly. It's ace! I'm big fan of the first one and I think as highly of this one also. Particularly liking Daddy Green, Biscuits and Blue, and I'm pretty sure it's Another Man's Blues that reminds me of Dirty Mama from San Diego Woman. Either way congrats on another ace album! I'll always remain a great fan of your work. Oh, and if ya need a female vocalist who you happened to say had a blues voice for your next project, you know where to find me!

I really must shut up now - tis blog will be far too long! I'll try and update a lil more frequently, but only if people comment to let me know they're still reading! Haha! Ciao for now folks! Love The Bil  xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hippo Birdie Two Ewes

Hello all!

Firstly, Happy 13th Birthday to Morgie for the 21st!!!!!!!!!!!!! My lord, he's a teenager!! An ace day was had by all! Darcey's lil drawings were fabulous, as was mine and Morgie's rewrite to the Raccoon's theme tune:

Run with us! It's a sponsered sports event! Run with us! Pledge money!
Come with us! Do your bit for charity! Run with us!

Ah, aceness man. This is from the genius behind Inspector Morse sung to the Inspector Gadget tune (Go Morsey, go!!!)

Still haven't watched anything to do with Eurovision yet ( )H_ ) except SOMEONE told me who won, and I'd managed to go 5 days without finding out. DAMN THAT ONE PERSON. Some more Revenge Pie is heading their way...

Secondy - finished all my exams! Woo!! Just need to start work on my Art and Graphics stuff now... *sigh*

Thirdly... IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOO HAPPY 17TH BIRTHDAY TO ME!!
and also... Happy 18th Birthday Dave!!!!!!!!!! Hope your day was as fun as mine! Even though it hasn't felt like my birthday I've had an ace day thanks to Josh, Kari, Kir, Morgie and my dear Mother  Love you all! And I've FINALLY got a new phone, and one that works!!! Le gasp!

And I'm actually 17 now as it's past 10.57pm - woo!

All hail the May 26th Crew!!!! Love The Birthday Bil  xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I'm gonna need acupuncture to calm me down, and after the aceness of the Do-It-Yourself Barrier I may have to snack myself up...

Is the world just conspiring against me?!?!? Despite the fact that my exams are all within the next week, I thought life was going okay you know. I was actually feeling quite chipper about everything! But ARGHNESS MAN.

Okay, here's le story:

Tis all about Halle. Helen and I were training it up to Manchester today to get to The Bridgewater Hall. We'd missed yesterday's rehearsal because they'd changed the venue at short notice so we couldn't organise a lift in time. So we got told today that we couldn't take part in the Mahler concerts because we hadn't been to one of only two rehearsals for them. ARGHNESS!!! Me and Helen are so annoyed, tis not our fault we couldn't go! Helen's mum's rung up and my mum's threatening to... just don't wanna have all this turned against us! Halle means so much to the both of us and I don't think either of us will know what to do if we don't get in next year!!! Oh the confuzzlingness!

But! Funness of the day! On the way to Halleness Helen thought I said "I fancy a bit of acupuncture" - yes, that's a normal occurance! And then when we got to The Bridgewater Hall and approached the Artists' Entrance (oh yes, how suave are we) and this dude was lifting up the automatic car barrier. So I just said "ooo, Do-It-Yourself Barrier! Like it!" and Helen was in hysterics!! Not quite sure why, but I love her weirdness!!

So yeah... that was my day. Spaz Tuesday tomorrow - woohoo!

One of the best phrases ever: at Kris's bbq on Saturday, Darcey walked over to the food table, and Aunty Heather asked her if she wanted anything. Darcey said:

"No, I'm just getting some Haribo to snack me up."

SNACK ME UP - LEGEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I see the people happy

So can it happen for me?

Cos when I am unhappy

Theres nothing that can move me

Grapey and Strawberry - the best of friends!!!

Oh my god!! I'm alive!!! And writing on here - gaspness!

Well, yes hello all. After aaaaaaages I thought I should update this darned thing so once again, hello.
Firstly - college. Finished Art and Graphics a couple of weeks ago - yay!  Can't tell you how happy I am about that. Got my Performing Arts practical exam this Wednesday coming, and I'm dreading that. Arghness... and then my two other exams are the first two days of Study Leave. Two things about that: 1) Woo! Don't have an exam on my birthday and I'm finished before my birthday too! and 2) Hardly get anytime to revise... bollocks. Could do with some revision time, seen as all next week is taken up with rehearsals and concerts...

See, I'm back at the Halle tomorrow after 4 weeks break. Well, I should have been if the BBC hadn't risen their prices so Halle can't afford to borrow Studio 7. So now all the rehearsals are at stupid William Hulme Grammar School. This means that me and Helen can't get to rehearsals now if we don't have a lift, which includes tomorrow. Damnation. I so need to learn to drive. But my 17th birthday is in 13 days (almost 12), so I can learn soon! Woohoo!

Concert with Oldham Youth Choir in Todmorden on Friday - pointless. We sung to a church containind about 30 old women. Woohoo... at least one of 'em said "lovely!" really loudly after we'd sung one of the pieces!

Also, Happy 14th Birthday Ethan (for the 3rd), and Happy 18th Birthday Kris (for the 8th) Hope you both had ace days! Morgie and I went to Kris's birthday bbq today (Mum didn't go cos she's ill - THINK HEALTHY MOTHER!!!) and twas hilarious! I spent an hour being walked all over by my lil cousin Louis and Jill's daughter Becky, and then Louis accidentally kicked me in the face and my lips have swelled up rather well and have been bleeding for a while... ah well.
Then came Grapey and Strawberry!!! Basically, me Morgan and Aunty Heather were sat at the table, next to the plate of fruit and the bowl of Haribo. There were three Haribo sweets left - two red feet and one green foot. Aunty Heather then placed the red feet underneath a strawberry and sat a grape on the green foot. This was the birth of Grapey and Strawberry! There is also a jingle:
Grapey and Strawberry - the best of friends!!!
Basically, there's a war between the red grapes and the white grapes, and the red grapes are decapitating the strawberries. A melon Berlin Wall separates the different coloured grapes, and Strawberry sticks with his best pal Grapey seen as his family has been decapitated. Grapey is, however, rather suicidal anyways... especially when he sees me eat his poor mother and Aunty Ethel.
So that's the story of Grapey and Strawberry! Aunty Heather and I are gonna make it into a kids' TV show - I'll animate it and Aunty Heather will sing the jingle! You best all watch it!

Just turned 7 days til Morgie's birthday - he becomes a teenager! Arghness... need to get his present... 12 days to mine... getting The Beautiful South's new album on Tuesday as an early present for myself )H_

Anywho, toodles all! Love The Bil  xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Final thought: imagine the kid from The Shining. Picture him saying Redrum. Now imagine him saying Spongebob like that.... *genius from Aunty Heather!*

kaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaWESH!

Hallo. Yes, it's that time again. It's the time I think I've thought of something vaguely interesting to say and decided to write a blog about it.

Well, I hope everyone is having a good Good Friday. I bring Easter cheer to thee. I miss my Christmas cheer okay? I need to create some kind of cheer... yeah... I'm feeling a lil down again. Ain't I well ace...

The last Halle concert was good. Better than I expected - I managed to make it the whole way through all the songs so that's a start. And when I say all the songs, I mean the Carmen. Twas hard, but I did it *woo*. Most of my family were there so I was really chuffed about that, and my mum and Aunty Heather said they could hear me, so I must have been doing something right cos they said I sounded good! Just over a month til Eurovision time - can't wait! And a month and a half til my birthday - really hope I get to spend it with my family.

Snowed under with college work... and I can't take much more of it... yay...

The BBC programme I was part of the recording for was on this morning. Hats off to Oldham Theatre Workshop! They really did the story justice off what I could tell - twas all so moving. I'm just annoyed that I missed the chance to see it when they all performed it. And the recording sounded really good. Kay came up to me after choir on Wednesday and said that you could hear me really well on it. Kinda makes sense seen as she said I didn't need to be anywhere near the microphone I'd been put next to when we were recording seen as I have a massive voice. My mum she heard me, but we recorded the show so we can listen back and see if we can spot my voice again )H_. I'm pretty sure I heard myself once, but that's cos I think I heard Adrian. You see, the basses are quite distinguishable seen as it was mainly girls at the recording, and Adrian sits behind me in choir, so all I can hear in rehearsal is him and Nick lol. So I heard Adrian, and therefore I was kinda able to pick out me too, cos I knew we were rockin' out! Muhahaha! And in The Stoning (ace screaming Vikki )H_), the random 'HA!'s were me, Adrian, Abby and Josh cos we couldn't remember the timing we'd been given, so we just 'HA!'ed whenever we felt like it really! Good times, good times.

Anywho, rambled enough. Have a good Easter all.

Gasp! It's a blog! My word!

Good in the evening to all. I hopes you're all just peachy and what not. I'm not too bad myself (thanks for asking )H_). Start my 5 hour controlled tests in Graphics and Fine Art next week (eep), which I'm a lil nervous about... BUT! Twas Parent's Evening tonight, and Kas said to be that he would be uber shocked if I didn't get an A in Art - woohoo! He has faith in moi!

For the observant amongst you, the next announcement will come as no surprise. For the not so observant: OBSERVE!!! My space's name has changed! We must say goodbye to PATANG!!! PATANG!!! and hello to PRESTO CHANGE-O!!!
Why the change? Let me explain.
PATANG!!! PATANG!!! is part of a Monty Python sketch which involves Graham Chapman dressed as a policeman who's just a lil teeny tiny bit off his rocker, and pretends to punch people shouting "PATANG!!! PATANG!!!" It amuses me and Morgie somewhat. However, Patang is the name of a Bollywood film, methinks, so people have been typing in some freaky-arse searches that have led here. Time to put a stop to that.
So welcome PRESTO CHANGE-O!!! Another lil thing of mine and Morgie's - there are actions to the words and everything
One day, if I can ever get anymore pictures loaded up on this god damn space, I shall roughly show ya the aceness that is Presto Change-o! And why can't I load pictures up anymore? Anyone else got this problem? More importantly, anyone know how to fix it? I didn't win the blog award for pictures from Dave for nothing, you know!

Further annoyance: I have to go to Halle rehearsal on my own on Sunday, so I needed to catch le train up to the BBC Studios. However, they've just changed the venue to sodding William Hulme Grammar School again so I can't get there. I need to order my tickets for the concert on the 9th god dammit!!! Lord knows what I'm gonna do... hopefully someone will smile down on me and make everything okay... just nothing can go right for once, can it?

Aye, I know I'm in a moany mood again. Sorry all. Hopefully the weekend (minus irritating change of Halle rehearsal) will cheer me up. Poochie's party on Saturday should be well ace (that's right, I'm actually going!), and then I've got the National Festival for Music for Youth auditions on Sunday morning. Should be interesting singing and dancing uber tiredly!

Ah well, gonna go and moan somewhere else now and do some artwork done... toodles all love The Bil  xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Tasha, you're bizarre...

Well hello all. I lied a bit didn't I when I said that the next time I'd be here is the end of April... truth is I'm a bit sick of continuously doing artwork so I'm having the night off, and I thought I'd ramble on at all of thee. Aren't you the lucky ones!

Having said that, I don't know if I have a lot to ramble about... hmmm... I do know that I'd like to thank Josh - you are truly ace for listening to my ramblings, and I'm very very grateful! I'm glad you understand! You see folks, I've been a bit... meh... of late due to certain circumstances and I just rambled at Josh for ages about them. Thanking thee so much for listening! Can't wait til Spazzy Tuesday!!!

I feel like I should talk about something intelligent and/or topical, but I can think of nothing. Nothing I tell thee! I would, however, like to point out the fabulous song on the media player above. Tis 'Trevor You're Bizarre' by The Beautiful South - I've been listening to that song non-stop for the past two days! Plus what, it's called 'Trevor You're Bizarre' - ace song title man )H_.

The concert schedule for all the various groups I'm in is getting a bit fuller. I've got the National Festival for Music for Youth auditions with Music Theatre on the 2nd April, doing Thoroughly Modern Millie again. Looking forward to it, just kinda annoyed that Oldham Youth Choir aren't doing it. I asked Dr. Bentley if we were taking part and she said "no, not this year, because we got Outstanding last year. Sorry that you weren't here!" Bless her! I asked cos there's a last Halle rehearsal before a Halle concert on the 9th is to raise funds for the tour of France that we're doing at the end of July. It's at The Bridgewater Hall and tickets are £8 - come along pleases! Fund our tour!!! I'm wanna go to France for as little as possible god dammit! But by the sounds of it, me and Helen are funding this tour by ourselves! I've got half my family coming (probably), and Helen has managed to get half the staff at Royton and Crompton to come!!! Go us!
And then the concerts continue! On April 30th I'm in this one at Huddersfield Town Hall with Oldham Youth - apparently it's quite prestigious seen as the three choirs who are performing (us included) were specially picked. There are more concerts in May... but I won't go into them just yet. Can't wait!!!

Speaking of May, that can only mean one thing - Eurovision is on it's way!! That's right, 20th May is Eurovision Night, and as we all know me and my Aunty Heather love Eurovision. Only because it's so fookin' hilarious!!!! Aunty Heather suggested that this year we make a night of it: gather together with some tasty grub and watch it. When she told my mum this at their weekly pub outing my mum pointed out the fatal flaw in her plan: I'm in a Halle concert that night - I remember cos tis the day before Morgan's birthday. Heather just said "damn, Tasha's the only one who cares!"
So I made a suave suggestion: what if we tape Eurovision and watch it another night? Yes, you read that right. TAPE EUROVISION. I know tis uber sad, but I don't care - I'm not missing out on the hilarity!!! Methinks Aunty Heather is all for the idea (wahey!). My 17th birthday is six days afterwards (the 26th, if you're having trouble there...), so that's what I might end up spending my 17th doing - watching Eurovision. My mum said I was sad. I know, but I don't care. I don't wanna do anything for my birthday this year, cos I really can't be arsed, so why not spend it in hysterics with my family? Sounds like an ace idea to me!

Hell yeah.

Anywho, I'm gonna depart now. I will try to update as often as I can, but as soon as I finish my Art and Graphics exams you know they're be an entry saying OH MY GOD THEY'RE OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I look forward to that day.

Happy St. Patrick's Day! I'm trying to get The Mother to have a drink later on to celebrate - I'm a quarter Irish and damn proud! And when is it gonna stop snowing??? I'M SO COLD!!!
Toodles all love The Bil  xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Sing a happy happy happy happy happy happy song...

Good in the evening to thee.
Announcement: This space is a year old today! Woohoo! That's my announcement finished then.

The singing at the weekend went really well. The Mrs. Sunderland Festival with Oldham Youth Choir went pretty darn well on Saturday - we won both our classes (twasn't hard for one of them as there was only two choirs in that class including us...), and came second overall. Not too shabby, eh? Halle on Sunday was pretty ace too - a guy who was in Phantom and Sweeny Todd was there and he was amazing! All in all, an ace yet bloody tiring weekend!

All this week has been the Departmental Concerts, and Morgie, Amy, Rachel and Kim were fab in the Wind and Strings ones! Yesterday was the Vocal Department Concert, and obviously that's my time to shine (muhahahaha!) The Youth Choir stuff was all the pieces we did at Mrs. Sunderland so I wasn't too bothered about that stuffs. Music Theatre was a bit dodgy though beforehand because we hadn't actually rehearsed the Thoroughly Modern Millie stuff in a large enough space, and skirts we had to wear were see-through.... but that went pretty damn well too! Yay! And I heard Morgan singing with the Senior Boys' Choir from upstairs and he was fabulous! I could hear ya loud and clear Morgie!!!! So proud of thee!!!! Good concert, good concert!

Ah well, I must go now as I'm going to Frimberlina, Loz and Emma's college show tonight - they shall also be ace! And then, after that... time to work on my exam questions for Fine Art and Graphics... yay...

Anywho, toodles all! Love The Bil  xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
